Blue Ridge Mountains

Happy New Year!  I thought I would share some photos from my trip to North Carolina.  The Blue Ridge Mountains are old mountains and beautiful in a softer way than the Big Horn Mountains, which are younger and more rugged.  I have a few photos to help give you a sense of what it’s like.  Mount Mitchell is the highest peak east of the Mississippi River at 6684 feet.  It’s interesting to note that I live at an elevation of around 4600 feet and Cloud Peak here in the Big Horns is a little over 13,000 feet.  I will try to post more things which I think you might find interesting during this new year.  Best regards,Gene  004008015016013

Very nice and clear pictures of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Are they taken with Carol’s camera?
